Arctic carried out reinforcement, formwork and concrete work as a subcontractor for PNC Norge AS. In total, we installed approx. 900 tonnes of reinforcement. In addition, Arctic has provided significant support to our customer PNC Norge AS with labour for various works, spending approximately 30,000 man-hours related to the concrete works and MSS start-up works.
Randselva bridge is a 634 metre long concrete bridge that is being launched with MSS and balanced cantilever. The bridge has a main span of 200 metres and six pillars that vary in height between five and 42 metres.
This BIM model-based project was selected out of 130 projects from 36 countries and was awarded "Best BIM Project & Best Infrastructure Project" in the Tekla Global BIM Awards competition.
Arctic started work on the project in June 2020 and completed it at the end of May 2022, and the bridge was opened on 7 July 2022.
